Kivvly is operated by Kivvly LLC. This page says what we store, why, and who else touches it. Questions: info@kivvly.com.
Who uses Kivvly
Directors and staff use the school dashboard. Guardians use the parent app. Children do not get logins. A child's record is in Kivvly because the school, or a guardian the school invited, put it there.
The school is our customer. We do not sell to parents, and we do not charge parents. We do not sell personal information. We do not run ads on it.
What we store
- Staff and guardian accounts: name, email, phone, and the school they belong to.
- Children: name, date of birth, class, attendance, allergies, notes, and who may pick them up. The school chooses what to enter.
- Messages, announcements, and the photos or PDFs people attach.
- Tuition, fees, and event charges. The amount, the status, and who it is for.
- Card numbers are entered in Stripe, not stored in Kivvly. We keep a reference so the school can see that a payment happened.
Why
To run the center. Check-in and attendance. Bills and payments. School-to-family messages, events, and permission slips. Invites so a guardian can open the app.
Who else sees it
- Supabase hosts the database, logins, and files.
- Stripe processes card payments and the school's Kivvly subscription. Stripe's policy is at https://stripe.com/privacy.
- Our email sender delivers invites, password resets, and billing notes.
- Apple and Google deliver push notifications to the phone app.
We do not sell this information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
How long
While the school is a customer. If the school cancels, access runs through the paid period, then 30 days to export. Then the account closes. We keep payment records we are required to keep for tax and disputes, and we say so if you ask.
Asking for your information
Email info@kivvly.com to see, correct, or delete your login. Deleting a login does not delete the school's record of a child. A director can ask us about the school's data. If you are a guardian, your school is the right place for a question about your child's record.
